Crying Wolf...I Know Not....1600 jobs at stake in Hampton Rds

Enough is Enough..we know who does not want to cooperate, just saying does not make it so. We have seen them side with the large corporation and wealthy donors on Tax reform, we have seen them insist on taking money out of the pockets of those on Social Security, the average Social Security recipient now receives about $1,175 per month or $13,500 per year, well below the poverty level, most do not have pensions. The maximum benefit is $2,346 a month or $28,152 per year, can those in Congress live on that annual income? I think they can't even live on that much per month.

So, for those who believe the President was crying "Wolf" I want to thank you for the devastation to families who are left in the wake of the budget cuts. Navy Sequester ACTIONS to be taken: cancel several SSN deployments, flying hours on deployed carriers in Middle east reduced by 55% steaming days reduced by 22%, cancel naval operations around S America and Europe (except BMD requirements), shut down 4 of 9 CVWs (airwings) in March 9-12 months, reduce non-deployed operations for pre-deployed training, Furlough most Civilians for 22 work days, Defer major repair to 3 ships----MORE---. Many impacts including; Scheduled deplorers will not be fully ready for scheduled FY 13 deployments, Truman and IKE Battle Group deployments extended INDEFINITELY. By the end of the year, at least three air wings will be reduced to minimum safe flying levels. The Navy also plans to shut down Carrier Air Wing Two next month. 1600 people have been put on notice that they will be let got employed by BAE, the company at the Naval Shipyard doing needed repairs on our aging fleet. Another wave of FORECLOSURES coming. Funny how you all live in a totally different world: House Majority Leader Eric Cantor proudly announced the calendar for the new Congress in 2013.

Here's the link: (http://majorityleader.gov/113thCongress1stSession.pdf),

Working days for the entire year total 126, leaving 239 days off. This includes virtually the whole month of August, two weeks around Easter/Passover, not a single five-day work week and (God forbid) no weekends. Lets do the math, people talk but don't do the math, I am a numbers person. 126 days, lets assume :) they work a 12 hour day, that is 1512 hours worked for the year. $174,000 divided by 1512 hours equals $115 an hour plus benefits. That is what WE are paying these deadbeats. They don't do what we hire them to do, but what they want to get re-elected so they can work another 126 days a year, plus benefits. All they have to do is hang in there 5 years and they qualify for a pension down the road. What company pays a pension to an employee after only 5 years, most don't give one at all anymore.
