Pardon my skeptism, but, I did not see that same "Outrage" when:
1. Newtown, Ct. on 12/14/12: 20 children were slaughtered, 8 others died 2 others injured, in school, 2 semiautomatic handguns, 1 shotgun & 1 assault weapon used, Gunman: Adam Lanza, 20.
2. Oakland, Ca. on 4/2/12: 7 children killed, 3 injured, in school, 1 semiautomatic handgun used, Gunman: One L. Goh, 43, a former student.
3. Dekalb, Ill., on 2/14/08: 6 children died and 21 injured, in school, 3 semiautomatic handguns and 1 shotgun used, Gunman: Steven Kazmierczak, 27.
4. Blacksburg, Va. 4/16/07: 33 children were shot to death, 23 others injured, in school, 2 semiautomatic handguns used, Gunman: Virginia Tech student Seung-Hui Cho, 23 (my brother's co-worker lost his son who was graduating & ready to use that wonderful education for a bright future...not to be).
5. Lancaster, Pa. on 10/2/06: 6 children killed, 5 injured, in school, 1 semiautomatic handgun, 1 shotgun, 1 assault weapon used, Gunman: Charles Carl Roberts, 32.
6. Red Lake, Minn. on 3/21/05: 5 adults 5 children killed, 5 injured, in school, 2 semiautomatic handguns and 1 shotgun used, Gunman: Jeffrey Weise, 16, murdered his grandfather, who was a police officer, and grandfather's girlfriend.
7. Littleton,Col. (Columbine) on 4/20/99: 15 children slaughtered, 24 injured, in school, 3 assault weapons &1 shotgun used, Gunmen: Eric Harris, 18, and Dylan Klebold, 17.
8. Springfield, Or. on 5/21/98: 4 children killed, 25 injured, in school, 2 semiautomatic handguns, 1 assault weapon used, Gunman: Kipland P. Kinkel, 15, a freshman at Thurston High.
9. Jonesboro, Ark. on 3/24/98: 5 children killed, 10 injured, in school, 4 semiautomatic handguns, 3 revolvers, 3 assault weapons used, Gunmen: Mitchell Scott Johnson, 13, and Andrew Douglas Golden, 11,
10. Olivehurst, Ca. on 5/1/92: 4 killed, 10 injured, in school, 1 assault weapon, 1 shotgun, Gunman: Former Lindhurst High School student Eric Houston, 20, angry about various personal failings, killed three students and a teacher at the school before surrendering to police after an eight-hour standoff.
11. Iowa City, Ia, on 11/1/91: 6 children killed, 1 injured, in school, 1 revolver used, Gunman: Former graduate student Gang Lu, 28.
12. Stockton, Ca. on 1/17/89: 6 children killed, 29 injured, in school, 1 semiautomatic handgun, 1 assault weapon used, Patrick Purdy, 26, an alcoholic with a police record.
IN A SAFE ZONE CALLED SCHOOL: (oh that's right those in Congress have their children in Private Schools, doesn't affect them). Now those same people are calling for cuts in spending, our area has begun firing teachers, where are they supposed to get the money for Armed Guards, and where are their priorities, education is going to go by the by while more money is spent on Weapons and to fund the NRA. I do believe we have a distraction, so we the people, won't notice these gutless wonders refused to make our children and our streets safe by getting assault, and multi-clip weapons off the street. I don't know a hunter and homeowner that needs one.

Since 1982 over 500 mass killings, almost 500 injuries, when will someone in Washington get outraged over that.
